Birthday Weekend Getaway | Asheville NC Photographer

If there was one thing that my husband wanted for his birthday…it would be a weekend in the mountains.  We never have time to visit in October (since wedding season is in full force :).  With that being said, we decided, what the heck, lets just go for his birthday.  We had an amazing time getting away and enjoying a beautiful cabin with the mountains as the backdrop. Since we were close to Asheville NC we thought we’d be doing ourselves a disservice by not visiting The Biltmore.  Now, mind you, I have NEVER been to see The Buildtmore.  I know, I know, I know, what the heck Autumn. I have lived here for about 10 years and had never even driven past it.  I may have googled it a couple of times but thats about it.  This was a little gift, I felt, for me.

This mansion was STUNNING from top to bottom. The details that the Vanderbuilt’s thought of while building their family home was breath-takng.  Walking through the house and literally envisioning the family children running down the halls while laughing was so inspiring to me.  I tried to document all I could but when you are also battling with others doing the same thing (and/or listening to their audio walk through) it can be a bit challenging lol.  However, I did manage to get some pretty awesome pictures that I just love!!  My favorite part would have to be their gymnasium!  I am in the gym 5 days a week and getting to see what they used back then was killer!!

I'm Autumn. Oh hey!

To simply put it...I am a girl who loves LOVE and a story teller that wants to artistically document your wedding day. I'm truly blessed to be able to meet such rad couples and have me join them on one of the biggest days of their lives. Also...I am not your traditional photographer so the cheesy stuff just isnt me lol. I'm an "in the moment" kind of photographer who wants your images to have true RAW emotion.  I want each picture to speak for themselves and tell a story.
